As daylight hours lengthen and temperatures oh-so-slowly begin to climb, snow texture changes to spring conditions. Moose Kisses in Breckenridge

This is a winter of powder turns, powder whoops*, sore quads, exhausted après, mandatory hot tubs and other great side effects from a ton of snow. Other benefits will include a massive whitewater season from all the runoff, so its a good time to start thinking about planning a spring or summer river adventure.

Yesterday- The Beatles Tribute

What’s not to love about cultural events that benefit a worthy cause? How about a great family friendly show, right in downtown Breckenridge, in the middle of the awards winning arts district, held at the beautiful Riverwalk Center, featuring a musical tribute to the Beatles with live music, vintage video, costumes and more? Ten Reasons to Hit the Slopes This Season, plus cute sweaters

One. The Breckenridge Distillery opens a new restaurant with Top Chef alum Daniel O’Brien, described as “quirky and hugely creative.” He will focus on paring menus and cooking over a whiskey barrel wood fueled fire.

Since this is Daniel’s first time living in a ski town, we asked him what he was looking forward to as a first time local who hasn’t stepped on his skis in 10 years. “I’m opening a new restaurant- I’m in at 7:30-8am and I leave at 2am. Hopefully I’ll get to ski some, and maybe take my wife ice skating.”

Motown Memories Tribute to benefit Domus Pacis Family Respite

Come join us on September 24th, 2016, at the Riverwalk Center, for an evening of Classic Soul and Old School Rhythm and Blues with Ron Ivory and the One on One quartet along with the Miles Apart Band. This Motown Tribute will take you back to the soulful music of the 60's and 70's, including songs by such artists as The Temptations, Marvin Gay, Smokey Robinson, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin and many more. Fall Favorites in Breckenridge and Summit County

Escape to the Colorado high country over the next couple of months and watch as the mountainsides transform into pieces of artwork.
