2018 - APRIL Spring in the Summit

EASTER - (Easter Sunday: APRIL 1, 2018)

Saturday, March 31st
Arapahoe Basin
Start the Easter egg hunt early at A-Basin. On Saturday, March 31st there will be 5,000 eggs to find on the mountain. Start your hunt on the Molly Hogan trail if you’re on foot, or head over to Wrangler if you’re on skis. Keep a lookout for the golden eggs - they contain special prizes.

Sunday - April 1st
Hit the slopes and join a mountain Easer scavenger hunt. First lift starts at 8:30. Take your photo with all 5 giant Easter eggs scattered from peak 6 - peak 9. Show your photos at the base of peak 8 and collect prizes. There is a grand prize for the first 10 participants to complete the scavenger hunt with photos of all 5 eggs. Don’t forget to meet the Easter Bunny at the base of peak 8 from 9:30-11. Ages 10 and under are welcome.

The Historic Park and Museum is hosting an egg hunt with 5,000 eggs! Starting at noon come join the hunt for candy filled eggs! The Easter Bunny will be visiting too!

Copper Mountain
With over 65,000 eggs scattered across 2,500 acres, Copper Mountain is hosting “The Worlds Larges Easter Egg Hunt”. There’s an egg hunt for all ages, including the “kids at heart”. Check out the website for more details

Breck Chili Cookoff – April 8

Sevens is going to get heated as the top chefs from Breckenridge Ski Resort and Breck Hospitality face off against each other to see whose chili recipe is the best! All the chili will be paired with a variety of Anheuser Busch beers – from Breck Brewery Bumps & Jumps IPA to Stella Artois.  This event is brought to you by Bud Light.

Cost: $20 per person to taste and vote

Imperial Challenge – April 21

The 2018 Imperial Challenge…the most unique pseudo-triathlon anywhere enters its 27th year! Ride your bike 6 miles from the Breckenridge Rec Center to the base of Peak 7 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Ascend on your choice of gear to either the top of the T-bar (Sport Course 2500’) or to the top of Peak 8 (Expert Course 3000’).

Closing Day & Breck Plunge – April 22

Come join us on Closing Day to celebrate the end to an amazing 2017-2018 ski and snowboard season. The Breck Plunge pond skim event will help close out the season with a splash. Join the fun at the base of Peak 8 with live music, food, drinks and great people!
