Alma Real Estate

Alma is a small town established in 1873, in Park County. Real estate for sale in Alma is generally less per square foot compared to nearby Breckenridge. Less than 300 people call Alma their permanent home, but when the surrounding subdivisions are included the population figure is tripled - and many home buyers are finding Alma is a great place for a vacation homes.. Most Alma-ites make a living in nearby Summit County.

Blue River Living in Breckenridge

Blue River is a single-family - town, really - a neighborhood of year-round and vacation homes in the great Breckenridge area. Any home for sale in Blue River will be within a 10-minute drive to downtown Breck. Dillon Real Estate

Try and imagine no Lake Dillon, but instead in the same place three rivers coming together where a trading post and clusters of cabins might have existed. This was the first site of Dillon real estate and the scene in the late 1800s, until Denver needed water storage in the high country. The town had to relocate to the northeastern shore of the lake while the reservoir was completed in 1963. The result was drinking water for Denver, but also our community got the beautiful lake we know and love.

The neighborhood of Warrior’s Mark rests in the crook of a long arm extending down from Peak 10. It’s south of the ski runs at the base of Peak 9 and west of Highway 9. Annexed into the town of Breckenridge in 2002, the neighborhood is a diverse mix of single-family homes, duplexes, townhomes and condos arranged around or near the main road called Broken Lance. This thoroughfare runs past the Blue River, and the community greenbelt.

Wildernest is a large neighborhood sitting on the southern flank of Buffalo Mountain, just west of the incorporated town of Silverthorne and northeast of Frisco, directly north of I-70. The radical height of this neighborhood puts you in the crow's nest over Lake Dillon, with the peaks of Keystone Ski Resort beyond it, the 14ers Grays and Torrey's farther on, the Williams Range off toward the northeast, and the Tenmile Range meandering south toward Breckenridge.

Life And Summit & Park County, Colorado Real Estate

Colorado's Summit County is comprised of a lot of public land - nearly 80% - and much of the private land in unincorporated in one of the five towns of Breckenridge, its southern sister Blue River, Frisco, Dillon or Silverthorne, or the resort communities of Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Heeney - way up north along the Green Mountain Reservoir. Colorado ski towns seem to attract culture as well as winter sport fans. Concerts, shops, restaurants and other conveniences of urban life complement the backcountry Summit County life you will experience.

Getting around Summit County is easy. The countywide bus system, Summit Stage, is free and I-70 runs right through the county. You can get to Copper Mountain from Frisco in under 10 minutes, and then on to Vail to the west in another 25 minutes. Denver is just an hour away to the east ... theoretically speaking.
