Vail Resorts Announces Operating Plan & Opening Days for the 2020-21 Ski Season

The answer to one of summer's biggest questions has finally been answered. For months, we've been listening to rumors and speculation about what will become of the 2020-2021 ski season. With last season being cut short, many of us are dreaming of the day we can be back on the mountain to immerse ourselves in winter in the best possible way- on our skis or board with family, friends, or even solo. On Aug 27, Vail Resorts announced Breckenridge Ski Resort will open for skiing and riding on Nov 13, 2020 to passholders only and by reservation. Keystone Resort opens a bit earlier for passholders on Nov 6. Skiers without season passes will be able to ski starting Dec 7 by reservation only. B.A.R.E Care - Thanks to all the Health Workers on the Front Lines!

On March 30, the 18 partners of Breckenridge Associates Real Estate were extremely proud to provide dinner for some of our local Summit County heroes at St Anthony’s Medical Center in Frisco, CO.  Four nurses’ stations with approximately 10 people per station over 2 shifts were provided a meal.  80 meals in total!  Much appreciation goes out to Kelly Brenholt at Ridge Street Kitchen in Breckenridge for putting our order together and assisting with the logistics of getting the meals prepared!  Kelly and her staff were able to provide a mix of sandwiches and salads with chips and cookies for both shifts. One thing is certain, we’re not alone, we’re all in this global pandemic together. For Breckenridge, a resort community who depends tremendously on our visitors, we are definitely feeling the effects of Stay at Home orders.

Although Summit County had the very first positive case of Coronavirus in the entire state, there have not been any related deaths and our positive cases remain low. Being a world-class destination, the first few cases originated from international travelers from various corners of the world. International Snow Sculpture Championships

Founded in Breckenridge 30 years ago and proudly sponsored by Breckenridge Associates since the beginning, the International Snow Sculpture Championships will be held in downtown Breckenridge January 20 through 29, 2020.

This year’s event attracted 42 applications, and without doubt, the 16 teams selected from this extensive and talented field will create the most exciting and competitive event ever produced. Team Breck Sports Club ‘President’s Club’ Provides Key Support to Local Athletes  

Team Breck Sports Club has been an integral part of the Breckenridge community for more than 30 years, serving youth skiing and snowboarding athletes of Summit County and the Front Range. The Team Breck Sports Club coaching staff provides expert experience and guidance to encourage young athletes to reach their goals both on and off the mountain. A variety of disciplines are offered, including alpine skiing, freeride skiing and big mountain skiing. Over the years, Team Breck Sports Club athletes have truly excelled and have been a part of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Olympic Team, U.S. World Champion Team, U.S. National Junior and Senior Champions, Junior Olympians, and NCAA All Americans.
