Summer in Summit and Park Counties are traditionally our busiest season for real estate sales and this summer seems no different. A strong jobs report for July and record low mortgage rates contribute to the strength of the resort real estate market. In fact, as of August 11th, jumbo 30 year fixed rate mortgages moved to a record low for the second consecutive week.

The local real estate market in Breckenridge and Summit County continues to show strong signs of stability.  Reduced inventory and a strong Buyer demand has resulted in impressive sales numbers year to date.  Many of the current statistics are comparable to the record high 2007 numbers, prior to the housing recession. As we approach the end of the Breckenridge real estate selling season, the local market statistics indicate we had a favorable summer this year compared to years past. August and September 2015, were both remarkable.
