The local real estate market in Breckenridge and Summit County continues to show strong signs of stability. Reduced inventory and a strong Buyer demand has resulted in impressive sales numbers year to date. Many of the current statistics are comparable to the record high 2007 numbers, prior to the housing recession. The number of residential properties that have sold in 2015, in Breckenridge and Summit County, has been spectacular. Year to date, the Breckenridge residential market has outperformed 2014 by almost 12 percent; 605 residential properties were sold as of October 31st, 2015. The number of active listings has decreased to an all time low, with only 273 active listings at the beginning of November 2015. This compares to 673 for the same time period as 2011.
