Exploring the Future of Dillon, Colorado: A Waterfront Transformation
On February 21st, the Town of Dillon’s Planning and Zoning Commission voted 3-2 in favor of moving forward on the Dillon waterfront redevelopment plan, spearheaded by local developer Jake Porritt. The project promises to breathe new life into the town’s waterfront area on Dillon Reservoir. At the heart of the redevelopment plan is the creation of a vibrant waterfront district by transforming the 161,200 square foot site currently occupied by the Best Western and now closed Arapahoe Café into a 5 story, 485,000 square foot development featuring a mix of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces.
