Breckenridge Bluegrass & Beer Festival

The Breckenridge Bluegrass & Beer Festival pairs live bluegrass music with craft beer in the heart of Breckenridge. The three-day event begins with a beer pairing dinner on Friday, followed by Saturday's Grand Tasting at Main Street Station, where attendees can sample beers from local and national breweries while listening to live bluegrass. The weekend concludes with Sunday brunch, with ticket options ranging from individual events to an all-access weekend pass. It's an ideal addition to a September weekend for anyone interested in craft beer, live music, and Breckenridge's local food and beverage scene.

Blue River Cleanup Festival

The annual Blue River Cleanup Festival brings the Summit County community together to help protect and care for the Blue River and its tributaries. Hosted by the Blue River Watershed Group, the two-day event begins with a kickoff party in Breckenridge, followed by a county-wide river cleanup on Saturday where volunteers work along sections of the river to remove trash and help support a healthier watershed. After the cleanup, volunteers are invited to gather at Frisco Marina for lunch, live music, local vendors, activities, and raffle prizes. The Breckenridge Film Festival returns September 17–20, 2026 for its 46th year celebrating independent filmmaking in the Colorado mountains. The four-day festival brings filmmakers, movie lovers, and the local community together for independent film screenings, premieres, filmmaker conversations, and special events at venues throughout Breckenridge. With programming within walking distance of historic Main Street, Breck Film Fest offers a different way to experience fall in Breckenridge while supporting the arts and independent filmmakers.

Breckenridge Oktoberfest
One of the most popular fall events in Breckenridge, Oktoberfest returns to historic Main Street September 25–27, 2026 for its 30th annual celebration. The three-day festival transforms downtown Breckenridge with German food, beer and other beverages, live music, dancing, stein-hoisting competitions, and family-friendly activities. The weekend also includes the Oktoberfest 5K on Saturday morning, while an expanded Kid Zone will be open throughout all three days.
