Extend Ski Season. Spend Spring Break in Breckenridge!

Breckenridge Ski Resort just announced that they will be extending the 2013-2014 ski season.  Peak 6, Peak 7, and Peak 8 will be open until April 27th, 2014!  The snow conditions have been amazing, so they are letting the locals and visitors enjoy some of the best snow in Colorado for another week.

So, how do you like to enjoy your spring break?  Do you enjoy plenty of sunshine, blue bird days, and fun evenings?  Pack your sunscreen and book a trip to Breckenridge because Spring Fever is back again this year!  You will not want to miss out on the month long festivities.  From March 22nd- April 20th, 2014, enjoy live music, great lodging and dining deals, fun activities on the hill and in town.  It is also one of the best times of year for skiing and riding.  Come treasure the best snow in Colorado and warm spring temperatures.

This year, the scheduled events will sure not disappoint.  The weekend kicks off on Saturday with the Peak 6 Big Mountain Competition, followed on Sunday with the annual Chili Cookoff.   The chili cookoff will bring some of the top chefs in Breckenridge to face off on who makes the best chili.  The event will take place at Sevens, the restaurant at the base of Peak 7.

If you want a challenge, on April 12th, join others for the 23rd annual Imperial Challenge ski and bike race.  As you spend the day gaining vertical feet, you will sure be exhausted by the end.

The annual Bud Light Concert Series will take place on Saturday and Sunday, the last two weekend of the ski season (April 12th-13th and 19th-20th).  Enjoy live music on a specially constructed platform at the base of Peak 8.  For more information on who will be performing at this year's event, make sure to check our Twitter account to be the first to know!

Beer, Beer, Beer!  Since the Main Street Breckenridge location was such a hit last year, come join the fun on April 5th, 2014, for beer, live music, and fun.  Guest will be able to sample craft beer from 30 breweries.  This is a benefit for the Nation Reparatory Orchestra.  If interested in volunteering, please contact Julie Chandler at the National Repertory Orchestra, 970-453-5825 or via email at julie@nromusic.com.

Spring Break Fever is a great time for the whole family to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.  Hope that you can make it out to this spring break event that will sure not disappoint!  To check out the full line of events, visit GoBreck.com.
