Epic Snow in Breckenridge

If you missed it on the news, Breckenridge Ski Resort has had an epic year of snow! Last Thursday and Friday, Ullr (the Norse snow god), opened up the skies and let the snowflakes fall. And they continued to fall at a very fast rate for days. The snow was falling and accumulating 2-3 inches per hour. The last time Breckenridge Ski Resort saw this much snow was over a decade ago. The final snow totals over the last week came in at 40 inches.  The current base depth at the Breckenridge Ski Resort is 85 inches. The season total for the Breckenridge Ski Resort is recorded at 267 inches, as of February 8th, 2014.Â
