The start of 2014 has been great! The snow has been amazing and the real estate market is off to a splendid start as well. In Breckenridge, the residential real estate market in January outperformed 2013 by 21.74%. There were 12 single family homes and 11 condos sold in January 2014. The duplex and townhome market saw a jump in the number of units sold this month compared to nothing selling in January 2013. Last month, 2 duplexes sold and 3 townhomes sold. Another positive sign in the real estate market is the number of active listings. And that number is declining. As of February 2013, there were 180 active listings in Breckenridge. This year, there were only 151 active listings.Â
