Year after year people fall in love with the charm of our mountain town and the world class skiing.

The month long party will get started on March 18th with events planned for the entire family.  So whether you are searching for a fun escape or a family looking to spend some quality time together, Breckenridge Spring Fever is the place to be. After your day on the ski slopes ends, the festivities of the Breck's Spring Break begins.  Experience one of the best spring breaks in the Colorado high country.

Throughout the month, there are spectacular ski events on tap.  Catch the GoPro Big Mountain Challenge March 18-20 taking place on Breck's newest terrain, Peak 6.  Young freestyle skiers and snowboarders will test the best steep lines, tight shuts, and cliff drops as they compete for points in the IFSA series. The competition begins at 10 a.m. each day.  Catch all the action at Peak 6.  The Six Senses terrain is accessible via Kensho SuperChair.

If you are in town for Easter Sunday, March 27th, take the chairlift to the top of Peak 8 for the Sunrise On-Mountain Easter Service.  After the early morning, join us on the mountain for an Easter Egg Hunt.

On April 2nd, an all new contest sponsored by Mountain Dew will be taking place on Park Lane's Famous Triple Line. The Mountain Dew Park Competition is new to the Breckenridge scene and should be a great addition!  Stay for another day (April 3rd) and enjoy the annual Spring Fever Breck Beer and Chili Cookoff.

The fun doesn't end for another couple of weeks!  Relax at the Breckenridge Spring Fever Beer Festival on April 9th, after a day enjoying the blue bird days.  Over 35 breweries will be on tap and there will be live music, food, and fun.

One of the major events of Spring Break Massive is the Breck Ascent Series Final Race.  On April 13th, use any means necessary to race up Peak 7 starting at 5:30 p.m. then ski or snowboard down to the finish.  It should be a great way to wind down the ski season.

Wrapping up Breck's Spring Fever races, is the Imperial Challenge.  On April 23rd, the Imperial Challenge will begin at 9:15 a.m. and participants will endure a pseudo-triathlon.  From the starting line at the Breckenridge Rec Center, ride your bike (or run) to the base of Peak 8 and then ascend Peak 8 to the top of the T-bar.  The final part of the race is to ski back down to the finish at the warming house at the base of Peak 8! The Imperial Challenge is what the racer makes of it....so make it fun!
