Budweiser International Snow Sculptures
It is the time of year again to start imagining what you can carve out of snow.  The Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championship (ISSC) returns to Breckenridge, January 19th – February 8th, 2015.  The blocks of snow will start to take shape on January 19th.  Teams will be coming from all over the world and will spend up to 65 hours shaping and sculpting the snow by hand.  They will create masterpieces that you have to see to believe.  The 20 ton blocks of snow will be assembled in the Tiger Dredge lot, behind the Riverwalk Center.   Teams will be sculpting the snow from January 27th- January 31st.   They will endure Breckenridge’s harsh temperatures and elements, working through the night to finish up their masterpieces before the competition ends January 31st at 10 a.m.  The awards ceremony will be held on the 31st, at 3:30 p.m.  !  With a $1 donation, cast your vote for the best snow sculpture.   All proceeds go to supporting the Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championship presented by Cadillac.   The finished snow sculptures will remain standing until February 8th, 2015, if the weather remains cool. Then they will disappear magically, as fast as they were constructed.  The International Snow Sculpture Championships will again be illuminated with LED-lighting display, giving a magical perspective to the event.

When: January 19th- February 2nd

Domus Pacis Family Respite
Breckenridge Associates Real Estate is a proud sponsor of the Domus Pacis Family Respite.  This nonprofit organization is based in Breckenridge, and provides the opportunity to make it possible for families on a traumatic medical journey, to escape to the beauty of the mountains in Summit County.  The program relies on donated homes as well as the generosity of local businesses and a team of dedicated volunteers. This year, Domus Pacis strives to provide the gift of respite to 100 families.  This will happen with the generous help of homeowners such as you.  Domus Pacis works with each owner’s individual requirements and does not make a request for a home donation during any peak weeks -- simply looking to use homes and condos when they would normally sit empty.
