Did You Know? 2009-2010 Breckenridge Skier Visits Surpass Vail
Vail Resorts Inc., parent company to Breckenridge Ski Resort, finished the 2009-2010 ski season stronger than the previous year's season, according to their earnings report released mid-June. Breckenridge had the most skier visits of the company's Colorado ski resorts with about 15,000 more visits than Vail Mountain. Breckenridge Ski Resort visits topped the previous year’s visits by 5.6 percent for this season. Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Resort both fell behind the previous year in skier visits (Vail fell by 1.4 percent and Beaver Creek fell by 0.4 percent) for the 2009-2010 ski season.

Despite record-low snowfall in Colorado, Vail Resorts (Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek and Heavenly) had an overall visitation increase of 2.5 percent during the 2009-2010 season.
