What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think the words "festival", "Breckenridge" and "September"? Oktoberfest, of course! And not just any Oktoberfest- Breckenridge has one of the best Oktoberfests in the entire state of Colorado. 
It doesn't sound logical, but Oktoberfest happens in September. The 26th annual Breckenridge Oktoberfest takes place September 23-25, 2022 and will once again be held on Main Street Breckenridge. The 2022 event will be a full-blown, Munich-style street party with live music, food vendors and plenty of ‘Prost!’ One of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the Rocky Mountains, the Breckenridge Oktoberfest combines festival-style outdoor drinking with family fun and live music. It's one of those days when time stands still and life feels free!
It’s always high-spirited, well attended and there are lots of snacks that consist of meat on sticks and hot pretzels. Lots of beer, music and dancing. Come dressed as you please or don some traditional Bavarian outfits (dirndl for women and lederhosen for men).
Kids are welcome with family-friendly activities planned throughout the weekend. This event is free to attend! Guests must be 21 or older to drink adult beverages.
Dogs are not invited to Oktoberfest due to extensive food and beverage offerings. Fido must stay at home.
The collectible steins typically sell out and can be ordered in advance online.
