Breckenridge Associates Real Estate Celebrates Our 20 Year Anniversary

It’s an exciting time for Breckenridge Associates Real Estate, we’re celebrating our platinum anniversary in 2019 - we just turned 20!

When opening our doors on Main Street in 1999, Breckenridge was growing into what it is today - a bustling mountain town with all the attractions to make it a worthwhile destination any time of the year. As we formed the team of 10 brokers to open our business, we had the vision Breckenridge would continue to grow and thrive. Our founders had started to see bigger name brokerages entering into the local market, but continued to feel the best approach to introducing home buyers to Breckenridge was to showcase our town from a true local’s perspective and connection to the community. In 2003, we purchased and moved into the historic red brick building on Main Street, which has become an icon of both our business and entrepreneurial spirit.  Our building is an original part of the vibrant history of our famous gold mining town. Every day we get to celebrate the heritage of our community.

We had years of experience and a wealth of knowledge about our mountain town, the people, and the neighborhoods, and had our pulse on everything new and exciting in and around Breckenridge.  We felt our clients and community were best served from Main Street rather than Wall Street. At the time, there was a big influx of corporate national franchises, and that just wasn’t a fit for us and the long term relationships we have with our clients.  Keeping things small and boutique made a lot of sense for us and would be what we’d ultimately hang our hat on in the launch of our business. The “Home Town Team” became our first tagline, and has since evolved to “Local Experts on Local Living” as we have grown. We’ve stayed true to our roots and commitment to the community for more than 20 years. After two decades we still care the most about sharing our years of knowledge with clients, who ultimately become friends and family, and growing the local bond and legacy of Breckenridge.
