Where Germany meets the Breckenridge mountains- that is where you will find the best Oktoberfest in the Colorado High Country. Breckenridge’s 20th annual Oktoberfest is returning again this year, September 12-14, 2014. It will be a fun-fill weekend, so mark your calendars and get your travel plans arranged.  Main Street will be transformed into a mini Germany.Â
The party officially starts on Friday, September 12th, 2014. From 2-6 p.m., come out and enjoy an evening filled with German food, Polka music, Bavarian dancers, and a street party that you don’t want to miss. The party will continue throughout the weekend, picking up again at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning. There will be more than 24 food vendors serving up traditional German cuisine, a keg-tapping ceremony, and several children’s activities. And don’t forget about the Paulaner Bier and collectible beer steins! Make sure to grab your collectible bier stein early because supply is limited, and in most cases, they sell out.
This is a no-pet event, so please leave your furry four-legged friends at home.Â
