Summit County > Silverthorne > South Forty
The South Forty - Just like it Sounds: Big Lots, Casual Living
Hamilton Creek has a section called the Benches, that are larger home sites in the neighborhood, that lie north of all the forks of Hamilton Creek. The neighborhood is minutes north of the Silverthorne exit from I-70. Well maintained neighborhood roads give easy access into this gently climbing neighborhood, where all of the homes are custom built. The Benches are just four lots that surround a ten-acre common area. And each of these home sites is close to 2 acres up to four acres. There are trees along Hamilton Creek, but more importantly there is sun pouring onto this little creek valley that faces west to the Gore Range. It's never too hot, here, above the main arm of the Blue River. Any home for sale in the Benches in Hamilton Creek will be comfortable winter or summer.
Views of sunsets over the Gore Range come with all the property in Hamilton Creek. The neighborhood association is well established and manages the utilities district that provides water and sewer for the neighborhood. The roads are paved and maintained. Trails run throughout the neighborhood above to Ptarmigan and downhill to the Blue River, and its Gold Medal fishing waters.

For families, South Forty is the handy home of Silverthorne Elementary.
All the homes here are custom built and in a variety of styles.
Trails up Ptarmigan to the East or West into the Gore Range
Hiking, biking and ski trails head up onto Ptarmigan Mountain from the creek, Hamilton Creek, and those in the Gore Range are just across Blue River Parkway.
