New Homes at the Core of Silverthorne

River West Condos in the core residential neighborhood of Silverthorne

River West Condos are new, mountain-modern homes located near the developing core of Silverthorne with its recently finished Pavilion for the performing arts, town hall and library and rec center.

Situated on about 4 acres between 9th and 10th streets and between the Blue River and Blue River Parkway, these condos have easy access to everything Summit County has to offer.  Across the Blue River are established single-family neighborhoods, immediately south are multi-family residential neighborhoods, and River West plans to fill in the need for more housing, close to downtown Silverthorne, and offer a difference.  These condos will be high in quality and purposely small in square footage while living large.

New construction, with the first planned completion in 2019, these homes are designed to be sleekly modern and efficient with common area outdoor hot tubs on the river side, carports and parking near the parkway. Views to the east of the Williams Fork Range and Ptarmigan, and to the west to the Gore Range and Buffalo.

The Blue River

Among the best fishing waters in the state, the Blue River is a protected asset in Silverthorne, and River West condo owners will enjoy its benefits.  River West is situated above the 100-year floodplain and is not displacing any existing wetlands. Here's what the 2015 Silverthorne town plan says about the river:

Considered by many residents to be the heart and soul of the community, the Blue River runs through the center of Town and is home to some of the best catch-and-release fly fishing in the state. The river is a Gold Medal Fishing Stream, which means that it has a higher percentage of fish 14-inch or longer than most rivers. The Blue River, within the Town of Silverthorne, is catch and release only. In the past decade, the Town has received grant funds to complete improvements to the river to provide better fish habitat. There are several good access points along the river throughout Town and north of Town along Highway 9.

The town of Silverthorne has a large rec center with several pools an indoor track and gym and is located less than a mile from all condos for sale in River West.  A bike path parallels the Blue River and heads north for several miles and could connect any homeowner in River West with trails up to the Ptarmigan Trail or the trails into the Gore Range from Willowbrook. Heading the other way, south, on the bike path, riders will find Dillon, Lake Dillon and trails to Keystone as well as a trail through the national forest around the lake to Frisco.  This county-wide trail connects all the ski towns of Summit County.  So does the free transit system, The Summit Stage. The Stage buses will stop on Blue River Parkway near River West.
