Adventure Placer is Open High Country

View from Alma to nearby mountans

From the small mountain town of Alma head to the west along Mosquito Creek, just as travelers to Leadville did by stagecoach in the 1880s and you'll find Adventure Placer. Homes here are a bargain compared to like property in nearby Summit County. World-class skiing is just over Hoosier Pass. Escape into public forest lands not far from any doorstep in Adventure Placer.

Adventure Placer is open country, gracefully treed with pines and aspens on the east flanks of the Mosquito Range.

Recreation Opportunities

From Adventure Placer, follow the jeep road up Mosquito Pass on bike or in a car and soon you'll find trails to ski, bike or hike. Fishing is good in the Mosquito Creek and the views are fantastic.

Location and Driving Directions:

Drive south from central Breckenridge for about 15 miles to the top of Hoosier Pass. Just a few miles over the pass, you'll find Alma. Mosquito Gulch is south of town on a well maintained road. Off this road, Adventure Placer will be on your right.
