Splash into Spring Pond Skim: April 27, 2024

The Splash into Spring Pond Skim is a widespread favorite annual event where skiers and snowboarders attempt to skim across a pond at the base of Peak 7. The pond skim marks the end of the ski season at Breckenridge. Participation is free for all guests with a valid lift ticket or season pass, making it a popular and entertaining way to celebrate the arrival of spring on the slopes.

The Green Tire Giveaway is an on-mountain scavenger hunt presented by Nokian Tyres. Participants will follow along with virtual clues posted to Copper’s social media while they attempt to track down the location of the green tire. The first to find the tire will win a full set of brand-new Nokian Tyres.

Bubly Tubing Spindig: April 14

Visitors of all ages are invited to celebrate the soon to end season at Copper’s unique Bubly Tubing Spindig. The event transforms the tubing hill into a vibrant party, featuring music, games, and lots of tubing fun.

Slush Rush: April 27

Appropriately named, the Slush Rush is Copper Mountain’s pond skimming event. Skiers and snowboarders costume up and test their skills as they compete in a relay race as teams of three for the fastest overall time to skim across a pond of freezing water at the base of the mountain.

Sunsation: April 27 -28

The ultimate spring bash, Sunsation at Copper Mountain is a festival with free concerts at the base of the mountain, competitions, and plenty of sunshine-filled fun. Visitors hit the slopes in their best retro gear during Copper’s closing weekend.
