Summit County is Free to Ride

Main Street Breck, Frisco and all ski resort are served by the free Summit Stage.

County-wide funding provides for a free state of the art bus service between all the ski resorts of Summit County.  The Summit Stage runs all day every day from all points of Summit County.

The service brings riders to the Breckenridge Transfer Center and to other central locations in other towns, where riders can get Breckenridge local transport to Peak 8 and 9 and just about any lodging.  The same bus system connects visitors and homeowners to downtown, as well.

Steep and winding Ski Hill Road is traversed by the Summit Stage.

Locals, like all the realtors at Breckenridge Associates Real Estate, know how to get around town quickly, and up to the lifts without the trouble that comes with finding parking - they use the Summit Stage and the town or ski area shuttles. And when out in town enjoying some of the local products like those produced by the Breckenridge Distillery and local brewers, the Summit Stage is a great way to get home.

Beginning in April 2019, the Summit Stage will provide morning and evening rides from Fairplay through and including Alma, to Breckenridge.  The normal Blue River stops will be included in this route. The cost per one-way ride will be $2 and exact schedule is still to be determined.

Transportation and traffic can be daunting to visitors but vacation homeowners that work the Breck. Associates know that have long-time residents to help them as soon as they start looking for property in Summit County.
