Beside or Below the Slopes - a Breckenridge Neighborhood
The Breckenridge Ski Resort, all five peaks, are to the west side of downtown Breckenridge. Any of these western, or slopeside neighborhood homes for sale will have relatively easy access to a ski lift or Four O'clock Run, which is a preserved open space that runs from the base of Peak 8 to downtown.
From the original stoplight on Main Street in Breckenridge, the road that goes west is aptly named Ski Hill Road. On the lower section of Ski Hill Road, most of the residential properties for sale are condos and townhomes. After the road climbs to the first plateau, you'll find some single family homes and duplexes in Shock Hill as well as in neighborhoods around the Breckenridge Nordic Center like the Settlement and Park Forest Estates. Christie Heights has some large lots and larger homes.
