Shock Hill Homes
Shock Hill homes were not developed until 2000. The lots were highly valued when they came onto the market and all homes are an up-scale, modern mountain design that received approval from the subdivision's Design Review Board before construction. Guidelines require a two-car garage and conformity to the platted building envelopes to ensure continued view corridors for existing homes. The lots and homes are large. In 2012, construction began on the largest home in the county in the Shock Hill subdivision.
Nordic ski trails circle the neighborhood and the Cucumber Gulch Wildlife Preserve is along the western border making the Shock Hill homes insulated by nature and connected by trails to the ski mountain, national forests and downtown Breckenridge.
