Living in Frisco
It's so easy to get around Frisco. It's flat and the town takes care of snow removal on all the city streets and sidewalks. Thee condos are just a block from Main Street and a short walk or ride on the adjacent bike path to Summit Parkway, the other main street in Frisco. In the spring, kayaking is possible on Tenmile Creek, there are trails along it that lead to city parks. Public tennis courts are right next door to any Scattered Pines Condo. Not far to the east is the marina on Lake Dillon.
Hiking trails can easily be reached from Scattered Pines by crossing Main Street and heading south to the Frisco bike path and beyond it to town open space and eventually Mount Royal or Peak One. West of the junction of Main Street and I-70 (not far from Scattered Pines) is the Tenmile Creek Trail that is a long, gradual walk in nothing but forest for several miles. Connections can be made from this trail onto more trail through the Gore Range.
The bike path from here can lead riders to Breckenridge, to Copper Mountain and then over Vail Pass, or just around the northern edge of Lake Dillon and around it.
