Quality Hills - Homes with a View For Sale
The Tenmile Range is in the Picture Window
Homes for sale in Quality Hill may have one of the best views of the Breckenridge Ski Resort, and if not from your living room window, the roomy lots in Quality Hills probably offers something great to see. A family-friendly neighborhood on the edge of the prestigious Highlands at Breck (but not in it, and subject to its dues and rules), Quality Hill homes will have land and privacy, as well as access to the mountain bike and hiking trails. The Quality Hills subdivision sits on the north side of the French Creek valley and faces southwest toward the Tenmile Range.
Quality Hill homes are set on several tiers of roads that gently switchback up Gibson Hill. The lots are not usually grand, but are generally greater than one-half acre.
Developed at the same time that the ski area was beginning and still being build upon today, Quality Hills is a little newer than it's neighbor Huron Heights, but older than Forest Hills. Each of these has similar qualities and each the charming uniqueness that comes with age. Big mountain homes and small A-frames may be your neighbors here, but all will fit in naturally in the pine forests surrounding your place on this sun drenched hill.

Quality Hill Homes - Breckenridge Living
Town water and sewer, natural gas and buried electric lines are possible in Huron Heights, but some homes were built before these services were available, and in many situations the existing systems are preferred. The same goes for Quality Hill. Joining the town system is not required because this subdivision is outside of the town limits, and there’s no real estate transfer tax. Officially, this subdivision's legal address is unincorporated Summit County and not within the town boundary of the town of Breckenridge.
The layered roads on Gibson Hill come together and descend into French Creek Road, which joins Highway 9 less than a half mile from City Market. People who want a close-to-town subdivision that is also a quick drive to Frisco and I-70 will appreciate this location, on the north side of downtown. Close as the crow flies to town center, a bike ride or walk into town will be downhill and easy, but short and steep on the way home.
Million Dollar View From up on Gibson Hill - Quality Hill
The open French River Valley below, gives these Breckenridge homes spectacular views to the Breckenridge Ski Resort and the Tenmile Range. The land steps up quickly in this subdivision, so each level gets the sun, and more of the same open view. Trails into the national forest traverse Gibson Hill, where this neighborhood is located, delineating the tiers of this cake, along historic flumes that were used in the mining era. Remnant of some mines still existing in the neighborhood and several unofficial trails through undeveloped land make it easy to get into national forest to hike or bike.
