The Shores at The Highlands is the newest section of the large Highlands at Breckenridge neighborhood, located north of downtown Breckenridge, near the public golf course. The Shores is the only part of the neighborhood lying on the west side of Highway 9.

Any land or home for sale in the Shores at The Highlands are on small lots on flat land reclaimed from the river at the foot of the Tenmile Range. Most of the homes are high quality, duplex-style in a two-home building, although a couple single-family home sites and one large multi-family-home building are part of this subdivision. The homes are a modern design with high caliber finishes.

Shores at The Highlands Nearby Recreation 

The bike path runs from Breckenridge to Frisco near the highway through the edge of the Shores at The Highlands. About three-quarters of a mile north on this path is the statewide Colorado Trail accessible at the Gold Hill Trailhead. The 27-hole Breckenridge Public Golf Course is across Highway 9 from the Shores at The Highlands. The amenities at the Frisco Marina on Lake Dillon are three miles north on the same highway.

Neighborhood History

The Shores is the last development of the Highland neighborhood subdivisions. All homes or land for sale here will have been created no earlier than 2007.
