Living on the Tenmile Creek in Frisco
In the spring, kayaking is possible on Tenmile Creek, and the stretch behind this condos is one of the best sections to practice, when you don't want to drive to bigger water. Tenmile Creek will be different every season of the year, and is one of the prettiest creeks in Summit County.
Hiking trails can easily be reached from Creekside via the bike path that runs along the neighborhood. The path leads you to the town park and to Lake Dillon. From there you can bike to Dillon or to Breckenridge, or enjoy the Frisco Marina. Other trails are accessible from Frisco by crossing Main Street and heading a few blocks south to the bike path and beyond it to town open space, Rainbow Lake and eventually Mount Royal or Peak One. West of the junction of Main Street and I-70 - not far from the center of Frisco, is the Tenmile Creek Trail that is a long, gradual walk in nothing but forest for several miles. Connections can be made from this trail onto more trail through the Gore Range.
The bike path connects all the towns of Summit County and because Frisco is so flat and central is a great amenity for any Creekside Condo for sale. The free county-wide Summit Stage makes all of the county accessible without a car.
