While our little town became widely known for the world-class ski resort in our backyard, we now draw visitors all year round. If you haven’t had the chance to drive up Boreas Pass and do some leaf peeping in the past, we highly recommend you add it to your “to do” list this fall. If you have made the drive, chances are you’ll make it a part of your annual family outing each September as it’s one of the best mountain destinations for peak foliage. Enjoy road biking around one of Summit County’s best and most beautiful amenities – Lake Dillon. September is the perfect time for an early fall ride to see changes in the leaves, but any time of year the path is clear of ice and snow, this is one of the best sections to bike in all of Summit County. Choose to stop along the way for spectacular lake and mountain views from the Frisco Marina, Lake Dillon Marina and Sapphire Point or just power through and check out glimpses along the way.
