For the past 28 winters, the some of the finest snow sculptors in the world have gathered in Breckenridge, Colorado for the International Snow Sculpture Championship. They come to face the daunting task of transforming, in 65 hours of intensive carving, a twelve-foot high, 50,000-pound cube of packed snow into an elusive and delicate work of art.
