For all your New Orleans fanatics, the Town of Breckenridge has a celebration for you! The first week of March, make sure to pack your beads, masks and boas as Mardi gras lovers take over the town. Kicking off the week on March 1st, 2014, enjoy the annual Mardi gras ball at the Beaver Run Resort. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. indulge in a traditional New Orleans cuisine. Dress up for the occasion and come with your beads, boas, and masks. The ball will have dancing, drinks, as well as the crowning of the Rex and Queen.
