Team Breckenridge takes Gold at this year Budweiser International Snow Sculptures. For only the second time in 24 years, Team Breckenridge created a stunning masterpiece, winning first place. Their whimsical piece named “Winter Fun” took the award over 16 teams that represented 12 different countries. “Winter Fun” 
was a sculpture of a father, son and their dog enjoying time tubing together. The tubing hill was created by Ullr, the norse god of snow, himself. It was a very fierce competition this year, with artists sculpting for 65 hours in five days. The second place win went to team Germany. They carved a beautiful, perfectly honed balancing discs sculpture. Third place went to Team Wisconsin. They stunned the judges with the intricate flower…
