Over 20 years ago, we were just a group of local agents who wanted to create something unique within the Summit County real estate market. We noticed the smaller, locally-owned agencies were being acquired by big national chains. Breckenridge Associates Real Estate is independent of the corporate bureaucracy that characterizes most national and regional real estate franchises. Our business model revolves around the philosophy of promoting your property instead of promoting a franchise name. We formed Breckenridge Associates on the foundation of serving clients from a true local’s perspective. Today, each of our 18 brokers is an equal owner in our company which provides an uncommon dedication to the business and you, our client. We do everything…

2020 sales through October 31st brought stats none of us saw coming. Like the rest of the world, we have been shocked this year by circumstances never before encountered. Knowing the Breckenridge real estate market fared better than most back in 2008, we could only be cautiously optimistic. Temperatures in the High Country are starting to cool off, but the real estate market remains scorching hot. Although the town has begun the transition from summer to fall with the end of walkable Main Street, visitation is expected to remain steady. Virtual workers and students want to take advantage of their remote opportunities and spend more time in the mountains. Will sales continue to outpace last year’s numbers? Only time will tell. We do know for sure that inventory continues to be record-setting low, but our Breckenridge Real Estate agents are great treasure hunters who know where to find your dream home or a buyer for your property.
