Labor Day Weekend marks the official end of summer. It’s also the time for a longstanding Summit County tradition: The Great Rubber Duck Race!

It has been a busy summer in Breckenridge as we’ve been soaking up the warmer temps, and filling our longer days with hiking, biking, golf and everything in between. From our wonderful NRO Porch Series Concerts to our 4th of July Client Party, we’ve been enjoying all the fun full-swing. Thankfully, we still have lots of summer sunsets to take in. Isak Heartstone is now officially re-opened to the public. After months of hard work and collaboration between the Town of Breckenridge, Breckenridge Creative Arts, and the Breckenridge Tourism Office, Breckenridge’s famous 15-foot-tall wooden troll is ready to receive visitors once again in his new home. Isak’s creator is Danish artist Thomas Dambo, who specializes in making imaginative art pieces from recycled materials. Dozens of his creations can be seen around the world. Isak, of course, is our favorite.
