Breckenridge Ski Resort plans to extend the 2018-19 ski and snowboarding season through Memorial Day. This adds more than a month of extra skiing and riding for pass holders and resort guests for the first time in close to 20 years. The resort’s original closing date for the season was planned for April 21, and is now extended through Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. Breckenridge said it plans to operate the extended season on Peak 7, and will offer access to advanced- and expert-level terrain on Peak 8, which includes Imperial, Horseshoe and North Bowls, which are accessed by the Independent SuperChair, the Imperial Express SuperChair and the TBar.
