Copper Mountain Resort is just 75 miles west of Denver with easy access directly from I-70 with 2,450 skiable acres, 22 lifts and three base villages. The resort offers spectacular skiing and riding along with winter activities galore – from free Snow Cat Tours ice skating at West Lake and Scenic Sleigh Rides to the new Woodward at Copper yearround training camp in the winter to golf, cycling and signature events and activities in the summer.

Skiing & Snowboarding at Copper Mountain

The signature naturally divided terrain is what sets Copper apart from other resorts in the area. Union Creek hosts The Schoolhouse and great beginner terrain. The skiing and riding out of Center Village, the main base area adjacent to Burning Stones Plaza, is geared for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. And the East Village has more advanced terrain access.

More Difficult – 25% Intermediate difficulty slopes that are usually groomed

Most Difficult – 36%
Amongst the most difficult at a given mountain. Black Diamond trails tend to be steep and may or may not be groomed

Expert – 18%
These trails are for experts only due to exceptionally steep slopes and other hazards such as narrow trails, exposure to wind, and the presence of obstacles such as steep drop-offs or trees.
